About us
ALMA was born to tell stories that involve, to celebrate unique moments in the lives of people, of a couple or of a brand.
ALMA is the union of our names and a choice of life. We are three professionals in marketing and communication, with careers in major Italian and foreign multinational companies. After more than twenty years of experience, we decided that the way we wanted to evolve had to be consistent with our personal, new way of life and work, where we could express ourselves through creativity and attention to people, manners, things.
We chose events: A two-way road shared with those who want to share with us significant steps of their path. Events, private parties, destination weddings, renewal of the vows, anniversaries and marriage proposals.
We have built a reality based on listening, emotion and a sense of beauty. Our projects are built on competence and empathy, the pillars of our projects we create with those we lend a hand to.
Marina Makaus
Growing up in Milan in a multilingual and multicultural family, she has travelled through Europe, the UK and the US since childhood.
She earned a bachelor's in College Writing at the prestigious Brown University in Providence, RH. Once returned to Italy she began her twenty-year journey in the luxury sector, while graduating from IULM: Chanel, the Chamber of Italian Fashion, then Nespresso with roles of international event and sponsoring platform management.
Educated to continental etiquette and savoir vivre, she is stickler enough to find areas for improvement even at a garden party at Buckingham Palace.
Today a working mother, she wants to pass on to her children the passion for work and for relationships that add value to our daily lives comme il faut - be it between colleagues, customers or friends from a lifetime.
Alessandra Bollo
Alessandra is an art lover, a tireless aesthete and always looking for beauty in everything. Creative and cheerful, the art of problem solving is her philosophy. Her favorite quote: 'There is no such problem with no solution, you just need to look for it'.
After studying Economics at Bocconi University, fascinated by the encounter with different cultures and driven by the desire to leave her comfort zone, she decided to move abroad for a few years, where she continued her studies in Management of Innovation between Copenhagen and Brussels. where she continued her studies in Management of Innovation between Copenhagen and Brussels.
She worked for 10 years in major multinationals, managing global brands within companies such as Ferrero and MARS:she developed marketing strategies and managed innovation projects and development of new products for both the Italian and global markets.
Alessandra Incalcaterra
Born and raised in Liguria, she moved to Milan at the early age of 20. Here, after her graduation and Master's degree, her determination and resourcefulness earn her the access to the circuit of major international PR agencies.
With more than 20 years of experience, acquired within international companies such as Nespresso and Triumph Motorcycles, she has held various roles up to Marketing and Communication Manager.
Her trump card? Being pragmatic, precise, quick and ironic, to face and win every challenge with the right approach and flavor.
Mom and wife, she loves to make what is "already written" into something "never seen".
She loves listening to people and detecting their nuances. She raises questions, some unanswered, as long as they can tease the heart and brain.
Her style: the classy things of the past, elegant and timeless, fresh flowers on the table, the scent of books, 70s blue-jeans and camel cashmere sweaters.
